From the very start KanjiTastic has given you a quick way to retrieve kanji that look similar to the one that you are studying. All you have to do is click on the "Related Cards" link at the top of the card then select Similar Kanji.

That's all well and good, but not all kanji have a look-alike kanji connected with them yet. To make it easier to find look-alike kanji you now have access to our list of similar kanji.

Wow, what a morning!
Last night's hard work paid off because after my morning coffee I did a bit of fiddling and imported more than 11,000 new Japanese vocabulary flashcards into KanjiTastic. That brings our total up to more than 20,000 vocabulary flashcards.
Add those to our more than 2,700 kanji flashcards and I think you've got a pretty darn good tool to get you on your way to Japanese fluency. Not to mention that it is freaking free!

And here we are again.
I've just finished adding in 2600+ JLPT level 1 vocabulary flashcards. There's a few stragglers left over, but more than 90% of all the JLPT 1 vocabulary has now been converted to flashcards. The remaining vocabulary will be added ASAP.
If you want to help by reviewing the list please contact me on twitter. Otherwise have a go at the flashcards from the JLPT 1 vocabulary list.

Today we've got another new feature for you: an advanced Japanese English dictionary.
Watch the screencast below for more details, but the long and the short of it is that the KanjiTastic Japanese English dictionary allows you to search by Japanese and English at the same time; search by hiragana or katakana; and use wildcards to expand your searches.
